Mixed Prints

I know some are hesitant to mix prints, but starting with simple patterns really helps. Polka dots is one of my favorite patterns to mix, but I've started experimenting more with stripes and flowers. I remember being hesitant to do anything bold for fear of what others might think. But as I became older and a bit more comfortable in my skin, I enjoyed the process of putting unique patterns and prints together.

Buzzfeed has a great article on mixing prints, providing great tips for those who may be less comfortable putting different prints and patterns together.

Oh yes, I almost forgot--that jacket and its versatility. I know it showed up in my last post but wanted to give you all some inspiration on how to use staple pieces across outfits. Hope you all enjoyed and would love to hear (and see) how you go about mixing prints. Until next time.
