Shar Styles | It Takes Two

I truly enjoy the evolution of style. You may remember Vikki T., who I've styled in the past. I had an opportunity to work with her again this summer and will be sharing our projects over the next couple of weeks.

A stylist's goal is to help a girl (or guy) find her own style and encourage her through the journey as her style changes over time. It's also up to the stylist to be able to put something together that is truly representative of who the client is.  The intent is not to make her look like you (the stylist) but to make her the best version of herself. So that's one thing that I tried to accomplish through this project. I wanted to show that the same outfit can be worn on a number of body types with variations to the items depending on preference.

Her style and my style. Rocker vs. vintage chic. Simple as that. Distressed jeans plus a white top. Nothing fancy.  Oh, and add a jacket. What's an outfit without a jacket or blazer?

Vikki makes styling quite easy given her beauty and own eclectic style. How have you worn a similar outfit in the past? Always love hearing from you and thanks for stopping by. More to come...
